These policies apply to all users of Meelance who create, manage, or interact with Pages, Groups, and Events. By participating in these features, you agree to adhere to these policies in addition to the overarching Meelance Community Guidelines.

1. Pages on Meelance

Pages on Meelance are designed to help organizations and individuals establish a professional presence, share information, and connect with their audience.

1.1 Creating a Page

Eligibility:
- To create a Page, users must be registered members of Meelance.
- Users can represent only one organization, which must be a legal entity (e.g., a company, institution, or a recognized group).
- Users may create personal Pages only if they operate a business as a sole proprietorship.

Information Requirements:
- Users must provide accurate and complete information about the organization, including but not limited to the organization’s name, description, website, and contact information.
- Users are responsible for keeping this information up-to-date and must promptly update any changes (e.g., name changes due to mergers or acquisitions).

Administrator Designation:
- Each Page must have at least one designated Administrator who is responsible for managing the Page’s content and interactions.
- Administrators must be current Meelance members and must provide accurate contact information.

1.2 Page Management

Content Guidelines:
- All content posted on Pages must adhere to the Meelance Community Guidelines.
- Users must ensure their content is professional, relevant, and does not infringe upon the rights of others.
- Users must not post content that is misleading, defamatory, or offensive.

Data Compliance:
- Users must comply with all applicable data protection laws when collecting or processing personal data through the Page. This includes obtaining necessary consent from individuals whose data is collected.
- Users must ensure that their Page complies with the Meelance Privacy Policy and that they have a legal basis for processing any personal data.

Analytics and Insights:
- Users can access Page Insights, which provide data on user engagement and other relevant metrics.
- The use of this data must comply with Meelance’s guidelines regarding data privacy and protection.
- Users must not disclose any sensitive metrics or member demographics without explicit permission.

1.3 Page Conduct

Prohibited Actions:
- Users are prohibited from using Pages to promote illegal activities or engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or hate speech.
- Users must refrain from posting content that promotes violence, drugs, or any other harmful behavior.

Moderation and Reporting:
- Meelance reserves the right to moderate Page content and can remove any posts that violate the policies.
- Users can report violations or inappropriate content using the reporting tools provided on the platform.

1.4 Termination of Pages

Removal of Pages:
- Meelance reserves the right to remove any Page that violates the policies or poses a risk to the community.
- Administrators can deactivate their Pages at any time. Upon deactivation, all content will be removed, and the Page will no longer be accessible.

Consequences of Violation:
- Violations of these policies may result in penalties, including the suspension or banning of the user’s account, in addition to the removal of the Page.

2. Groups on Meelance

Groups on Meelance are collaborative spaces where members can connect over shared interests, projects, and discussions relevant to the media and entertainment industry.

2.1 Creating a Group

Eligibility:
- Only registered Meelance members can create and manage Groups.
- The Group must serve a clear professional purpose and adhere to Meelance’s community goals.

Group Information:
- Group creators must provide a clear description of the Group’s purpose, objectives, and any rules that govern its interactions. This includes specifying if the Group is public, closed, or secret.

Administrator Roles:
- Each Group must have at least one Administrator who is responsible for managing Group activities and content.
- Administrators must be active Meelance members.

2.2 Group Management

Content Posting:
- All content posted in Groups must adhere to the Meelance Community Guidelines. This includes respecting others’ rights and maintaining a professional tone.
- Members are encouraged to post relevant content, ask questions, and engage in discussions that foster collaboration and networking.

Conduct Standards:
- Group members must interact respectfully, avoid personal attacks, and refrain from discriminatory language.
- The promotion of personal businesses or services must be done within the context of the Group’s purpose and must not overwhelm discussions.

Moderation Responsibilities:
- Group Administrators are responsible for moderating content and ensuring discussions adhere to Meelance’s policies.
- They must remove any inappropriate content and take action against users who violate guidelines.

2.3 Group Conduct

Prohibited Behavior:
- Members must not engage in spamming, trolling, or any disruptive behavior.
- Users must not use Groups to promote illegal activities or engage in any form of harassment or intimidation.

Reporting Mechanism:
- Users can report any violations or inappropriate behavior to the Group Administrator or directly to Meelance’s support team for review.

2.4 Termination of Groups

Removal of Groups:
- Meelance reserves the right to remove any Group that does not comply with the policies or poses a risk to the community’s safety and integrity.
- Group Administrators may choose to deactivate the Group at any time, resulting in the removal of all content.

Consequences of Violations:
- Any violations of Group policies may lead to penalties, including removal of offending members and potential suspension of the Group.

3. Events on Meelance

Events are opportunities for Meelance members to network, collaborate, and share knowledge within the industry.

3.1 Creating an Event

Eligibility:
- Only registered Meelance members can create events.
- Events must have a clear professional objective and adhere to Meelance’s community standards.

Event Details:
- Creators must provide detailed information about the Event, including its purpose, date, time, location, and any registration requirements.
- Any fees associated with the Event must be clearly communicated upfront.

Organizer Responsibilities:
- Event creators are responsible for ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- They must manage registrations, communications, and overall coordination.

3.2 Event Management

Promotion and Conduct:
- Users must promote Events in a manner consistent with Meelance’s Community Guidelines. This includes refraining from spammy tactics or misleading promotions.
- All participants must be treated with respect and professionalism throughout the Event.

Data Protection:
- Any personal data collected during the Event registration process must be handled in accordance with Meelance’s Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
- Event organizers must obtain explicit consent from participants before using their data for any purpose.

3.3 Event Conduct

Prohibited Activities:
- Events must not promote illegal activities or behaviors that could harm participants.
- Discrimination, harassment, and any form of hate speech will not be tolerated during Events.

3.4 Termination of Events

Cancellation Policy:

Consequences of Violations:
- Violations of Event policies may result in penalties for the organizer, including removal from Meelance and potential legal repercussions for serious infractions.

Meelance acknowledges that laws and regulations can vary significantly by region. Therefore, all users are required to comply with local laws and regulations applicable to their usage of Pages, Groups, and Events. This includes:
Data Protection Regulations: Compliance with laws like GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California, and other relevant data protection laws is mandatory for all members collecting or processing personal data.
Intellectual Property Laws: Users must respect copyright and trademark laws applicable to their content and interactions within Meelance.
Anti-Discrimination Laws: All activities on Meelance must comply with local anti-discrimination laws, ensuring equal treatment of all users regardless of race, gender, age, or other characteristics.
