This User Agreement applies to residents of the European Economic Area, France, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
This agreement applies if you reside in the EEA, United Kingdom, France, or Switzerland. If you reside outside these regions, please read the standard User Agreement.
This EEA User Agreement supplements the standard User Agreement and applies where required by applicable consumer protection and data protection laws. In the event of a conflict between this agreement and the standard User Agreement, this agreement will prevail for users residing in the EEA, France, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
1.Contracting Entity
If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, France, or Switzerland, your agreement for the use of Meelance services is with:

Meelance Platforms is responsible for operating the services, managing subscriptions and payments, providing customer support, and complying with applicable legal obligations. Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your country of residence, those rights remain unaffected regardless of the company's place of establishment.
2.Eligibility and Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- ✓You are at least 18 years old or have reached the legal age required in your country.
- ✓You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- ✓All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
- ✓You will keep your account information updated.
- ✓You will comply with this agreement and all applicable laws.
3.Services
Meelance provides an online platform that enables users to discover opportunities, connect with professionals, collaborate on projects, and access premium features.
Certain features may require payment or an active subscription.
We reserve the right to modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time where reasonably necessary.
4.Account Security
You are responsible for:
- ✓Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- ✓All activities performed under your account.
- ✓Promptly notifying us of unauthorized access or suspected security incidents.
Meelance may suspend accounts that present a security risk.
5.Subscriptions and Payments
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Before purchasing, pricing, billing frequency, and applicable taxes will be clearly displayed.
Unless required by law:
- ✓Subscription fees are non-refundable.
- ✓Partial billing periods are not refunded.
- ✓Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically refund previous payments.
6.Right of Withdrawal (EEA Consumers)
If you are purchasing as a consumer within the EEA, you generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal beginning on the date of purchase.
However, if you expressly request immediate access to digital services and acknowledge that service delivery begins immediately, your withdrawal rights may be reduced or lost to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this agreement limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable legislation.
7.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- ✕Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- ✕Infringe intellectual property rights.
- ✕Upload viruses, malware, or malicious software.
- ✕Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- ✕Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
- ✕Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the platform.
- ✕Distribute spam, scams, or fraudulent content.
- ✕Use automated tools to scrape or harvest platform data without authorization.
Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.
8.User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit.
By uploading content, you grant Meelance a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for operating, improving, and providing the Services.
You represent that:
- ✓You own the necessary rights to your content.
- ✓Your content does not violate applicable laws.
- ✓Your content does not infringe third-party rights.
9.Intellectual Property
The Meelance platform, software, trademarks, logos, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Meelance Platforms or its licensors.
Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of any intellectual property.
You receive only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services.
10.Privacy and Data Protection
Meelance processes personal information in accordance with:
- ✓The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.
- ✓UK GDPR, where applicable.
- ✓Applicable Indian data protection laws.
- ✓Our Privacy Policy.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- ✓Access your personal information.
- ✓Correct inaccurate information.
- ✓Request deletion.
- ✓Restrict processing.
- ✓Object to processing.
- ✓Request data portability.
- ✓Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
International transfers of personal data will be protected using legally recognized safeguards where required.
11.Service Availability
We strive to provide uninterrupted services but do not guarantee continuous availability.
Services may occasionally be interrupted due to:
- ✓Scheduled maintenance
- ✓Security updates
- ✓Infrastructure failures
- ✓Third-party service outages
- ✓Force majeure events
- ✓Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
12.Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts if you:
- ✓Breach this agreement.
- ✓Engage in fraud.
- ✓Misuse the platform.
- ✓Create security risks.
- ✓Violate applicable laws.
You may stop using the Services at any time by closing your account.
Termination does not affect accrued legal rights or payment obligations.
13.Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Meelance does not guarantee:
- ✕Continuous availability.
- ✕Error-free operation.
- ✕Compatibility with every device.
- ✕That services will meet every user's expectations.
Mandatory statutory warranties remain unaffected.
14.Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this agreement excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law, including liability for:
- ✓Fraud
- ✓Gross negligence
- ✓Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- ✓Any liability that cannot legally be excluded
Subject to applicable law, Meelance's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
15.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meelance Platforms, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from claims arising out of:
- ✓Your violation of this agreement.
- ✓Your misuse of the Services.
- ✓Your infringement of third-party rights.
- ✓Your unlawful conduct.
16.Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of India.
Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply, those rights remain unaffected.
Nothing in this agreement limits statutory rights available under applicable EEA, UK, French, or Swiss consumer protection laws.
17.Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiations.
Consumers within the European Union may also access the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform where available.
Nothing in this agreement limits your statutory right to bring claims before competent courts where required by applicable consumer law.
18.Changes to this Agreement
We may update this agreement periodically.
Where changes materially affect your rights, we will provide reasonable notice before they become effective.
Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement.
19.Severability
If any provision of this agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
20.Entire Agreement
This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any incorporated policies, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Meelance Platforms regarding the Services.
