Meelance supports tailored features depending on whether you are looking for work or seeking to hire industry professionals. This guide helps you understand the available account types.
Choosing the correct account configuration ensures you have the relevant tools (e.g. portfolio uploads for talent or job listings dashboards for recruiters).
2.Requirements
To access either account type, the following validations are needed:
- ✓Talent Account — Portfolio reels, creative credits list, verified skills profiles.
- ✓Recruiter Account — Company email verification, business registrations (for enterprise roles).
3.Step-by-Step Instructions
You can choose your profile type during onboarding or switch configurations later:
- Navigate to your Meelance Profile page and open your Account Settings.
- Scroll down to the Role Preference section.
- Select either Talent, Recruiter, or **Dual Role** (available for verified agency entities).
- Click Save Changes to instantly refresh your dashboard tools.
4.Important Notes
If you are an agency manager or a line producer who both hires crew and performs creative roles, selecting the Dual-Role Preference lets you post jobs and show a portfolio under a single login.
5.Troubleshooting
Recruiter Dashboard Missing
If you set your preference to Recruiter but cannot see the "Post a Job" options:
- Check if you registered with a public domain email (like gmail.com). Recruiter permissions require verified company domains.
- Verify your billing status if you have hit the maximum limit of free recruiter postings.
