If your identity verification check has failed or was rejected, Meelance offers this troubleshooting guide to help you identify processing issues and upload documents successfully.
Most validation checks are processed by automated system algorithms. When image resolution, lighting parameters, or name alignments do not match baseline keys, it triggers rejection errors.
2.Requirements
Ensure you satisfy the following checklist before trying to upload your documents again:
- ✓Unaltered Document — Physical ID card (do not photograph copies or screens).
- ✓System Permissions — Allow browser access to device cameras.
3.Common Rejection Reasons
1. Light Glare or Shadow Overlays
Cameras capture glare when flashing directly on laminated ID card holograms. This obscures document details, preventing OCR tools from reading name, birthdate, or ID numbers.
2. Out-of-Focus or Blurry Images
If your mobile device camera is too close or has dirt on its lens, the image is blurry, obscuring fine print and anti-counterfeiting details.
3. Cropped Borders
Automatic verification systems inspect all four corners of an ID card to check the document's validity. If the document card border is cut off, the card will be rejected.
4. Name Mismatch
If the legal name on your government identification card does not match the registration record submitted during signup, the verification will fail.
4.Step-by-Step Diagnostic Check
- Clean your device's camera lens using a microfiber cloth.
- Place your identity card on a flat, neutral-colored surface. Avoid heavily patterned tables or white sheets.
- Ensure you are in a brightly lit room. Avoid harsh overhead spotlights or using camera flash. Indirect, natural lighting is recommended.
- Check browser site settings. Ensure site privileges allow camera permissions.
- Hold your camera steady, align your ID within the guide lines, and wait for automatic focusing before capturing the photo.

To prevent fraud attempts, accounts are limited to 3 verification attempts. If all 3 fail, the verification will lock, and you must submit a ticket to manually verify your profile.
